Lemmy.world, lemm.ee and feddit.org are Europe-based.
Out of the top 10 most active Lemmy instances (https://fedidb.org/software/lemmy, filtered by MAU), there is only one US-based instance, and it’s hexbear.
In the top 20, you have discuss.tchncs.de, lemmy.zip, sopuli.xyz
In fact, the only generalist US instance is https://discuss.online/, and is only in the top 40.
It’s like the opposite of when US people complain about Europe from Lemmy.world.
By the way, is there any non-US Mbin instance?

I think they are not targeting you, but baiting flyingsquid.
