I managed to flash an IPhone to an older version of the OS back in the day, it took a few hours, most of which was finding the image and working out what to do.

This really is just an ad for a third party OS, isn’t it?

And flashing a new OS to a phone isn’t even that difficult to do.

With X, Musk has gone full mask off, and there is a clear successor to the platform, which means sticking around isn’t really defensible.

I think they’ve realised they’re at 3, and are backing off a bit.

I’ve deleted the Facebook app off my phone, and started just checking in once or twice a day to see if any cool trips are being planned.

My feed is mostly sponsored posts and meme pages now, and that’s not what I’m there for.

SpaceX is the one I feel bummed out about, because they’ve legitimately achieved some amazing things over the years. Tesla as well in the early days, although they’re losing their lead a bit.

This would only work if the tariffs were bipartisan, and clearly here to stay, and even then only if the USA alone is a big enough market to justify building a factory for.

Otherwise companies will just wait it out.
