Proton, the Swiss based, privacy focused VPN and cloud services provider does a $10 raffle for a lifetime accounts with all proceeds and a match up to $150k to a list of ten privacy/foss focused charities & organizations. Proton isn’t itself a non profit in need of funding per say but they do good work and it’s an easy way to put a small amount towards some worthy cause, and possibly win a decent product in the process. Wont post links to avoid looking like a shill, but the list on their page for the raffle might also be a good place to look if you’re wanting to donate to something directly.

Honestly it’s the highest compliment you can give em. The title got me too but obvs the community gives it away. And admitting you ate the onion shows maturity imo so good on you.

7-zip doesn’t have an integrated installer so yes you have to uninstall the old version and install the new one.

Fake cigarettes have been pretty common props for a while now. Obviously there used to be a lot more actual tobacco use on sets but nowadays, especially with a lot of municipalities outlawing tobacco smoking indoors in public spaces, its almost always all fake/herbal. There are also nicotine free vaporizers that are styled to look like real cigarettes.
