Yeah it must be a new addition. Big sad.

Yeah it’s just a non-starter for me. I already have to silence several calls a day as telecoms providers, UK at least, allow people to spoof their numbers. Like I want to give it to another company that’ll either sell it get breached and ends up out there anyway.
I don’t see this going away so might need to buy a burner phone just for receiving codes in the near future but it won’t be linked to me and it will not receive calls.

Eww I just downloaded Claude for iOS and to sign up you need a phone number? No thanks.

It seemed to be a trend amongst younger people who would disable auto capitalisation.

What’s the benefit of port forwarding when using a VPN?

Thanks. This makes perfect sense and I agree I think recipes should use weight. I don’t know what a cup of flour is but I do know how to weight out 200g.

A teaspoon is 5g right? So half would be 2.5g or does it depend on the item in question?

I believe it is an investment or trading company that dabbled I know crypto at one point.

Even our spyware is bloody branded. Cant wait for the British ones.

It never ceases to amaze me what exists in the internet. FindAFox is pretty damn cool. I feel like it would be cool to have FindAnAnimal which covers all animals you could ever want to browse.
There is a community where Alice will make you a mod if you ask and you can do this too. I forgot the name of the community though.

I worked at Apple for a while and I can see a use case for this.
It was a little annoying to have to change your iPhone with the card reader attached (for taking payment and stuff in the shop floor) when it was out of battery. You would have to go upstairs and grab another one off charge, sign in, two factor, and then go downstairs to carry on. Only this one won’t pair with the card reader so you gotta do it again.
If you could just do this like the toaster then time saved would be a lot across a company.

Long delay in replying here, but we did have limits in the number of gift cards combined value you could buy, not that they couldn’t keep buying them in different stores.
I think this was to curb people using stolen cards to buy them rather than to prevent people sending gift cards to scammers.

Which side were you arguing?

I think if something is described as deceptively shallow it means that it looks deeper than it is. IMO

Edit: To your other point. Why should Honey take money away from actual referrers when they didn’t even provide a discount code?

What’s the worlds oldest democracy?

Huh… I’m never off YouTube but never heard of or seen ads for Pie. I wonder when they will start showing up.
I still see a lot of Better Help ads and that sucks. I’ve gotten to the point where if it’s a YouTube Ad or sponsor, I ain’t buying it ever.
Hey thanks for this. I wonder if I can sign up on the website and then login to the app. I will try that at some point today.
Much appreciated you updating me on this.
