Old mate at work was a rough, tough, hard drinking, hard fighting type.
One day someone was whingeing about a difficult job. Old mate turns to him and says:
“This whole thing is a miracle. All of it. In the whole universe this should just be more empty space, and yet here you are, complaining about whatever. None of us have to be here. Enjoy it.”
It was super out of character for him but he was right.
Who knew - the real torment nexus was the corpses we made on the way.

On a second look I’m shocked to be unable to find a technology connections video on this. This guy has near on 10 years of gold on YouTube.

I only hope that it gets people used to the idea that you can leave a platform and the sky wont fall down. Sooner or later these guys will try a federated service and learn that protocols > platforms (in this case activitypub).
