Yeah, I remember that Black Mirror episode.

Fucking finally.

Who needs the commoners when AI and algorithms can simulate them.
Being rich doesn’t exist in a vacuum but only in relation to other people, meaning if only billionaires survive, they’re not rich anymore. They need the poor majority.

I mean, in VR you’re really just checking how well you did your avatar. There’s a sense of accomplishment in doing something that looks like you with a very limited set of tools. Haven’t tried it in VR, but I know the exact feeling from The Sims series.

To a surprise of no one. The headsets are fucking uncomfortable. Which doesn’t bother me when the goal is a gaming session because I gain something that I like (playing immersive games) to offset it. But to see some fucking avatars of people for a meeting that most likely could have been an email or two? No thanks.
The encryption that only works in one-on-one chats? The encryption that’s multiple menus deep in said one-on-one chats? The encryption that no one uses because of the issues above?
Not specifically, but training is pretty fucking expensive to do, while generating is kinda easy. The OpenAI models are massive, training them cost a lot. Though they also have a lot of traffic. But unless they stop training new models, I don’t think generating answers will ever catch up to training.

Still doesn’t work for me.

That’s pretty crazy.

I’d love me some invisible hinge for foldables.

Heh, they didn’t really stand a chance, I block them on network level, device level and I also used some software to block all the annoying shit on Windows itself (OO Shut Up or something like that). But the huge empty spaces where something was very obviously missing told me pretty exactly where I would see the ads.

I regularly fix Windows bullshit of my team members without actively using it myself. Windows doesn’t really change that much, I just make sure to check it out for a few days when some huge changes arrive, other than that I don’t care.

Yeah, like the constant driver issues. I had to reinstall the OS and it wouldn’t even recognize my hard drive, just told me there’s no drive.
Or when it refused to use my dedicated Nvidia GPU and only used the integrated one.
Or when my sound stopped working all of a sudden.
Oh, right, those were all Windows!

You mean GNU/Linus?

You won’t. Just install Windows in a VM once every few years and you’re good to go.

Eh, I’m talking about real computers, not devices that cosplay as one.

infinitely better battery life
All my laptops have a battery as shitty as ten years ago.
Loved that browser, it was so amazing compared to all the half-assed default browsers. Good old days of J2ME.
I also used its bigger brother on Symbian because it rendered the web better, but it was way too memory-hungry.
